Safari - Crocodile

One of the scariest sights to see are the crocodiles laying in wait ready to chomp into their victims and drag them under the water. Whenever you see a body of water you just need to start looking close and you will eventually see them. They are good at blending in and/or looking like logs floating in the water.

The above pictures were taken with a Nikon D90 at 300mm. The picture with the croc in the water was taken much later in the day at ISO 1600.

Photography has remained a constant in my life since I was a child. I currently shoot with Nikon D7100 and a Sony NEX-6. My iPhones have gotten a lot of use as well (currently an iPhone 6+). I take pictures of just about anything, but my favorite is cars, all types of cars. Over the years I have abandoned the tripod, and do more run and gun stuff. I am pretty good at holding the camera steady, however once in a while I dig out the Manfrotto and get a few pics. I do everything for my own enjoyment so you will see some great pics and some not so great pics. Many of my pictures are just quick shots to remember the day.
